Manoj A Nair formed SVM Contract Consultants Private Limited in 2010 along with Swapna Bhojane (LLB.). He has over 15 years of experience as corporate commercial lawyer with immense exposure to commercial contracts . His last assignment was with Petrofac International Limited, Sharjah, UAE (EPC Company) as in-house Legal Advisor.

Prior to joining Petrofac, he was Legal Manager with Damac Holding LLC in Dubai for a short while and before Damac was Legal Counsel with Schlumberger Asia Services Limited in Mumbai.

He was in Muscat, Oman from 2003- 2006 working as Legal Advisor for an oil and gas company MB Holding LLC.

He started his career as a lawyer in 1996 working with a leading law firm in Mumbai, Mulla and Mulla Craigie Blunt & Caroe for 4 years and thereafter was a sole private practitioner in Bombay High Court for 4years.

He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and law and is also qualified as Solicitor Supreme Court England and Wales (NP).

He is also an adjunct faculty teaching business law in leading B schools in Mumbai-

i) The Institute of Technology and Management
ii) Institute of Business Studies and Research
iii) Mumbai School of Business
iv) Times Business School and
v) Ghelot’s Institute of Management.

He is empanelled as a freelance instructor with ESI International and has professional certification from ESI and The George Washington University Schools of Business in Contract Management Principles and Practice and Managing Outsourcing Contracts.

He is also empanelled with NIIT as subject matter expert.
